IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON DELIVERIES
As of Monday 4th May 9am, we are still currently deliverying Australia wide & across the globe from our warehouse in Sydney. We have been given assurances that Australia Post is still deliverying and is regarded as a highly essential service.
When are we open during the Holiday Break?
We are open every day except for the designated public holidays. Christmas Day 25th, Boxing Day 26th and New Years Day 1st
How will we communicate with you regarding your delivery?
Once you place your order with us we want to make sure you get to enjoy the great products you've ordered as quickly as possible. To do this we need to be able to communicate with you until your parcel is in your hands (or the hands of your giftee!). Please provide a valid e-mail address and mobile number so that we can send e-mail updates and TXT messages regarding the progress of your order. It is also important to ensure our emails (or the emails of our carriers) don't go to your spam folder. Ensuring valid contact details will mean that you will know where your parcel is at anytime. It will also allow an opportunity to provide alternative delivery options or possibily change the address after we send the parcel, if necessary. A lot can happen in the busy parcel networks so it's best to always keep up to date with the status of your parcel. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask us.
Which shipping options are available?
At Crayons we have tried to provide the ultimate in flexibility when it comes to you receiving our great products in a safe and timely manner. We can deliver anywhere: PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, Houses, Businesses and even a dog’s kennel if it has an address.
Below are the several different ways you can receive products. We send everything from our Silverwater warehouse using Australia Post and occasionally a courier (depends on size). We aim to dispatch orders within 1 business day of ordering, but at busy times it may be a little longer. Premium Shipping ($9.95 Australia Wide)
Its $9.95 for all parcels to all destinations in Australia. Every parcel sent with premium shipping, will be tracked, from source to destination. We provide insurance and a guarantee if the parcel is declared lost in transit by the carrier, we will replace it. We can also provide options at the point of delivery, like authorities to leave, messages for the driver, and a signature on delivery.
Express Shipping (from $12.95 Australia Wide)
If the parcel is destined for the Sydney network the cost is $12.95 otherwise it will be $14.95. We are able to send parcels using an express service. In most cases there is a specific delivery network where the overnight service applies. The parcel will still take the fastest path to the destination, but may not be delivered overnight. We are sending from postcode 2128. Orders must be in by 1pm to be dispatched on that same day. Please call us if you are not sure and want us to prioritise your parcel.
Parcels that weigh more than 5kg will not be able to be sent via express post. In the event that your parcel falls into this category we will contact you ASAP to discuss alternatives. We reserve the right to NOT use the express shipping service for extremely large or heavy parcels that we haven’t previously excluded in our systems due to an error or oversight.
Warehouse Pickup (free)
If you live in the Sydney area, or have a friend who is in the Sydney, we provide a warehouse pickup service. After you have placed your order we will contact you to say that the parcel is ready for pickup and arrange a time that’s convenient. The address is:

Parking is available out the front of the warehouse itself.
We have OnDemand services.
Tonight Service - This can be booked up until 2pm for delivery in the Sydney Metro postcodes between 6 and 9pm, that same night
Worldwide Delivery (cost varies)
Australia is far, far away from most of the rest of the world. It is hard for us to automatically calculate the cost of Worldwide delivery, given that it depends on the size & weight of your parcel, as well as the destination. Once you have checked out with your products, adding all your important information to the order. We will then contact you with the calculated shipping costs. Alternatively you can contact us at email@example.com, tell us what you are looking for and we will provide a quote. Please check customs information in the destination country, as extra charges may apply prior to delivery of the parcel. Crayons takes no responsibilty for these charges.
What happens if the parcel is returned to us?
If the parcel is returned to us due to an error on our part, we will resend the parcel at our cost. If it is returned for any other reason, we will need to charge another delivery fee and the return postage charge to get this parcel sent out again.
