Which shipping options are available?
At Crayons we offer the ultimate in flexibility when it comes to the delivery of your order in a safe and timely manner. We can deliver anywhere: PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, Houses, Businesses and even a dog’s kennel if it has an address.
We send parcels from our Silverwater (Sydney, 2128) warehouse using Australia Post, Fastway, CouriersPlease & TOLL (depending on size, weight, destination etc). We aim to dispatch orders within 1 business day of ordering, but at busy times (eg Oct - Dec) it may take a little longer.
Orders must be in by 1pm to be dispatched on that same day (for in-stock items only). You will receive an email to confirm that the order has been dispatched, which will include a tracking number. This number can be used to check the status & location of your order once it has left our warehouse.
We charge $9.95 for all parcels to all destinations in Australia. Every parcel sent with premium shipping will be tracked from source to destination. We can also provide options at the point of delivery like authority to leave (ATL), messages for the driver, or a signature on delivery.
** We may contact you if your parcel is heavy or oversized to request extra shipping costs not covered by the postage charged at checkout. This is in reponse to increased shipping costs charged by our carriers.
Express Shipping (from $12.95, available Australia wide)
If the parcel is destined for the Sydney network the cost of express shipping is $12.95. Express shipping to the rest of Australia is $16.95**. In all cases the parcel will still take the fastest path to the destination, but may not be delivered overnight. Check the express delivery network provided by Australia Post to find out where the overnight service applies.
** Parcels that weigh more than 3kg or are larger than approx 40cmx30cmx20cm may not be able to be sent via express post. In the event that your parcel falls into this category we will contact you ASAP to discuss alternatives so please be sure to include email & phone contact detail. We reserve the right to NOT use the express shipping service for large or heavy parcels that we haven’t previously excluded in our systems due to an error or oversight.
Warehouse Pickup (free)
If you live in the Sydney area, or have a friend who is in Sydney, you can take advantage of our warehouse pickup option. We will notify you by email when your order is ready for collection. Feel free to call us from your car & we will bring the parcel out to you! Parking is available out the front of the warehouse. The address is:

OnDemand Services ($15) - Sydney Metro Only
Tonight Service - For delivery in the Sydney Metro postcodes between 6 and 9pm on the day of ordering. Please order by 2pm to take advantage of this service. Orders received after this time will be booked for delivery the next business day.
Worldwide Delivery (cost varies)
Australia is far, far away from most of the rest of the world so international shipping can be costly! It is hard for us to accurately calculate the cost of Worldwide delivery prior to ordering, given that it depends on the size & weight of your parcel, as well as the destination. Once you have checked out with your products, add your shipping address information to the order. International shipping costs will be calculated at this point. Alternatively you can contact us at [email protected], tell us what you are looking for and we will provide a quote. Please check customs information in the destination country, as extra charges may apply prior to delivery of the parcel. Crayons takes no responsibility for these charges.
**COVID SHIPPING ISSUES** Australia Post may not be shipping to your intended international destination at the moment. We will contact you via email if there are any issues prior to dispatch of your parcel.
What happens if the parcel is returned to us?
If the parcel is returned to us due to an error on our part, we will resend the parcel at our cost. If it is returned for any other reason, a redelivery fee of $9.95 will be applicable to cover the cost of the parcel being returned to us & and the cost of it being redelivered. For this reason it is important to check the shipping information in the order confirmation email. Please contact us ASAP if you see any errors or omissions with the shipping address.
What happens if the parcel is late?
We will make every effort to pack & ship your parcel within 24 (business!) hours of your order being placed for items that are in stock. Once the parcel leaves our warehouse we can not be held responsible for any delays that may occur after that point, and will not be held liable for any associated costs. We would encourage you to order with plenty of time for delivery, to allow for any unforeseen delays.
What if the shipping address needs to be changed?
Please contact us ASAP if the address needs to be changed. It is much easier to do this BEFORE the parcel is dispatched! Once the parcel has left our warehouse it is a much more complicated process. We will do our best to help make the change but by then it may not be possible.
What if the items are no longer required?
Please contact us ASAP if you would like to cancel your order. Prior to dispatch of the parcel we are happy to cancel the order & process a full refund. Once the parcel has been dispatched we are not able to cancel the order. You will need to return the item(s) to us at your cost for a refund of the purchase price of the items, excluding shipping costs. Please see our refunds & returns policy for further information.
