Collections & Interests - Spiders

Spiders are part of the real world, whether we like them or not, and even the humble Daddy Long Legs can trouble some children and adults.    But for some an early interest may grow into a passion and more than one child has grown to be an Entomologist of renown, travelling the world and studying insects.

Helping children to learn to identify the dangerous spiders they should NOT touch is important, especially as they begin to play independently or with friends in the outdoors - where the creepy crawlies are mostly found.
