LEGO - LEGO Star Wars
LEGO Star Wars. Like Bacon is to Eggs, better together. You take 1 part Australia's leading toy by a country mile, mix it with equal part Jedi Knight, Lightsaber and Vader, mix together, bake for 15mins on medium and you are left with, undoubtedly, a toy range that hits it popular with kids, teenagers and (yes lets admit it), adults.
You see its not that it simply allows us to relive our own child hood during the release of Episode IV, V and VI (and the other 3 which I've forgotten), but its a story line that has been shared and adopted into newer, younger generations, an evergreen sci-fi epic that, like wine, is seemingly just getting better with age. For those of you caring for a younger generation, sharing Star Wars tales over a freshly opened X-Wing LEGO set is one of life’s bucket list worthy pleasures! (I could be doing it wrong).
And the whole family is here. LEGO sets from Episode 1, 2... Sorry. LEGO sets from Episode I, II, III, IV, V and VI (and ofcourse VII is coming, its a surer thing than taxes) have all been covered, with special minifig characters, various shapes and colours of R2-D2's (fans will know them as their real names, not copies of R2-D2's and for that I apologise) and the space ships! What makes a sci-fi epic so great is the diversity and range of an empire's space fleet. X-Wings, Tie-Fighters, Star Destroyers, Star Cruisers, the Millennium Falcon and even the Death Star. Seriously if these aren't household names, go... Google... Now!
